Are speech therapy services covered by OHIP?

Unfortunately, speech therapy services are not covered by OHIP, however many private personal health insurance plans do provide coverage for speech therapy services. Contact your insurance provider to determine how much funding you receive. Funding is also available from third party sources if eligibility criteria is met.

 

Can speech therapy services be provided at my child's daycare?

Yes. Speech therapy services can be provided at the child's daycare provided that both the parents and the daycare have given their consent and arrangements have been made with all parties.

 

Do you offer speech therapy sessions over Zoom or another online platform?

Yes we do! Telepractice is only recommended for some speech services. Call us to find out more.
